GOD is GREAT!

God is doing some totally awesome things in the Upstate of South Carolina! Here is just a couple things:

1. God has blessed me with the opportunity to see 5 teenagers come to know Christ in the past two weeks!

2. The youth ministers throughout the area and their churches have been given the opportunity to minister to area-wide high school baseball teams, their coaches, and their families.

3. A new vision for local missions has been cast from a local ministry leader. We're tired of getting missions in the wrong order. Let's do missions at home F-I-R-S-T...

4. WinterJam 09 - Need I say - "AWESOME"

A New Era

My wife, Brittani, and I are expecting a little bundle of joy in September! Sept 20th to be exact! Yesterday, I was able to hear our baby's heartbeat for the very first time! With a heartbeat of 172 bpm, this moment will not be something I soon forget. I anxiously look foward to using this blog as a personnal therapeudic tool. I'm not typically a person who patiently sits around and types/writes endless amounts of informtion, but I have found writing out my thoughts to be somewhat "healing." Therefore, stay tuned to hear more about my childhood and why I cannot wait to be a DAD! **I never thought i'd be able to say that!**
